From front to rear: (a) the blue cyclinder is the high pressure fuel filter, (b) The second cylindrical object is the high pressure fuel pump which has a foam sleeve (c) silver coloured box is the swirl pot. A swirl pot is a small (about 1 ltr) resevoir of fuel. The Marlin swirl pot has four connections: low-pressure in, low pressure return to fuel tank, high pressure out (to high pressure pump) and a high pressure return.
