June 04 -- Handbrake mounting. The handbrake is from an E30. I bought the handbrake for £2 on e-bay. Cables are still a bit slack. The threaded adjustment on the ends of the cable were soldered back on. I had some trouble getting lead-free plumbers solder to stick. By cleaning the cable with sulphuric acid the solder took and the result is very strong. Others have used silver solder and report very good results.
